Real estate firm Bolour Associates is revising its proposal for a mixed-use development in the Arts District. Yesterday, the Beverly Hills-based firm filed updated plans with the City of Los Angeles for a 1.34-acre property at 527 S. Colyston Street.  According to a case filing from the Department of City Planning (LADCP), the project would consist would feature 310 residential condominiums, 11,375 square feet of retail space, 11,700 square feet of production space and a 394-car garage.  The proposed development would rise to a maximum height of 12 stories, or approximately 148 feet above street level. Bolour had previously submitted plans for a smaller seven-story complex on the property, which also fronts Palmetto and Seaton Streets.  The developer recently sold another entitled property at 7th Street and Santa Fe Avenue. LADCP recors indicate that Bolour is requesting a general plan amendment and a zone change for the project. The development site sits a short distance west of a new park at 5th and Hewitt Streets, as well as the At Mateo office and retail center.
