Later this week, the Los Angeles City Planning Commission will review 7111 N. Sepulveda Boulevard, a proposed mixed-use development from the Downtown-based firm Fayz Holdings, LLC. The project, slated for the current site of a small commercial building south of Sherman Way, comes from Fayz Holdings, a limited liability company based out of Downtown Los Angeles.  Plans call for a six-story structure, featuring 180 residential units, 4,750 square feet of ground-floor retail space and on-site parking for 302 vehicles and 206 bicycles.  The project would include a mixture of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, 20 of which would be set aside for very low income households. Renderings of the proposed development, which is being designed by architect Daryoush Safai, portray a contemporary building highlighted by flourishes of orange and black.  Cantilevered balconies wrap several of the project’s exterior units. Details including a budget and a timeline are unclear.
