Architecture firm Studio One Eleven has unveiled renderings for an upcoming develompent in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District. The proposed 2110 Bay development, slated for a 1.8-acre site adjacent to the forthcoming Soho Warehouse, would consist of three buildings on a campus-like setting with public and private open space.  The project is being designed to gracefully incoprorate itself into the surrounding Arts District through sensitive massing, scaling and materials. Plans call for a 110-unit live-work tower featuring a rooftop pool deck and amenity space.  Next door, a proposed office building would create 100,000 square feet of leasable space as well as a rooftop amenity level.  The third and final building would be a standalone retail shed structure, featuring a second-floor open air retreat. In total, the 2110 Bay development would provide over 50,000 square feet or shops and restaurants, connected through a series of landscaped plazas and paseos.  The entire site would be located above a three-level subterranean parking garage. The property is located east of Santa Fe Avenue, between Bay and Sacramento Streets.
