A document from CRA/LA has unveiled plans for a new apartment complex with ground-floor retail on Sunset Boulevard. The six-story development, slated for a .32-acre site at 6630-6634 Sunset Boulevard, will consist of 34 market rate apartments and slightly over 5,000 square feet of ground-floor rcommercial space.  Plans call for a mixture of studio and one-bedroom apartments, supplemented by a rooftop deck and a parking garage for 49 vehicles and 28 bicycles. Designs from architecture firms David Kellen & Associates and Stockton Architects have recently been revised to incorporate the facade of an existing 1927 building located at 6634 Sunset Boulevard.  Besides that aspect, the remainder of the building would feature modern finishes and large windows to maximize views. The project is being developed by A.J. Khair, a Los Angeles-based real estate and construction firm. A timeline for the proposed building is currently unclear.
