Renderings have emerged for 10601 Washington Boulevard, a mixed-use complex now under construction on the border between Culver City and the Palms neighborhood. The seven-story building, which is being developed by the real estate firm Greystar, will contain 135 studio, one-and two-bedroom apartments and slightly over 14,000 square feet of ground-level commercial space. The project utilizes density bonus incentives in exchange for providing 11 units of low income housing. Plans call for a number of residential amenities, including a fitness center, a swimming pool, a rooftop deck and parking accommodations for 294 vehicles and 179 bicycles. Designs from VTBS Architects incorporate materials including cement plaster, corrugated metal siding and brick veneer. Completion is on pace for early 2018.
