Near the southwest corner of Wilshire and Harvard Boulevards in Koreatown, prominent local real estate firm Jamison Services, Inc. is in the midst of construction on a multifamily residential complex. The seven-story development, named for its location at 3640 Wilshire Boulevard, will feature 209 studio and one-bedroom apartments above 3,100 square feet of neighborhood-serving commercial space. Planned amenities include a fitness center, a rooftop terrace, a swimming pool and a zen garden. The project also includes a two-level underground parking garage, and is located within walking distance of both the Wilshire/Western and Wilshire/Normandie subway stations. Designed by Santa Monica’s Killefer Flammang Architects, the podium-style building will feature a facade of porcelain tile and trespa. Completion of 3640 Wilshire is anticipated in early 2017. The mixed-use development is located one block west of a similar development on Hobart Street dubbed the Pearl on Wilshire.
