Los Angeles-based real estate firm CIM Group has filed plans to construct a residential-retail complex on the site of a shuttered car dealership in West Los Angeles. The proposed mixed-used development would rise from an approximately 1.33-acre site at 11752 W. Santa Monica Boulevard, replacing a series of vacant structures that once housed Beurge Chrysler Jeep.  Plans call for a five-story structure which would feature 187 residential units above nearly 15,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a 316-car garage. According to a case filing from the Department of City Planning, CIM Group has requested density bonus incentives for the project in exchange for reserving 16 of the proposed apartments for very low income households. Further details about the project are currently unclear. The project follows a similar mixed-use complex from CIM Group which is now under construction on an adjacent property at 11800 Santa Monica Boulevard.
