Holland Partner Group, already in the midst of construction on three Downtown developments, is now preparing to begin work on a fourth. Last week, the Vancouver, Washington-based developer fenced off a nearly one-acre parking lot at 732 S. Spring Street, which will soon give way for a new high-rise building. The proposed 24-story tower will feature 308 residential units above approximatley 7,200 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Plans call for numerous residential amenities, including a fitness room, a swimming pool, a rooftop deck and a small pocket park along Spring Street. The project will also offer a five-level parking garage with 400 vehicles stalls for residents of the tower and the adjacent Great Republic Lofts. The approximately 250-foot tall building is being designed by MVE + Partners, an Irvine-based architecture and planning firm. According to the company’s website, the facade of 732 Spring Street fatures a fabric weave pattern inspired by the surrounding Fashion District. The project is the second collaboration between Holland Partner Group and MVE + Partners, following the 24-story 8th & Spring development which is now under construction on the opposite side of the intersection.
