Valley Village WELCOME HOME

A shuttered car wash in Valley Village is poised to make way for a new mixed-use development. According to plans filed last week with the City of Los Angeles, applicant Yaron Levy has propposed a five-story residential-retail complex on an approximately .65-acre site at 12438-12462 West Chandler Boulevard. The project calls for 70 residential units, 1,750 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a two-level garage with parking accommodations for up to 80 vehicles.

An initial study produced by the Los Angeles Department of City Planning has unveiled renderings for an upcoming residential-retail complex in Valley Village near the Orange Line busway. The project, slated for a .65-acre property at 12444 Chandler Boulevard, would consist of a five-story building featuring 70 one- and two-bedroom apartments above approximately 1,750 square feet of ground-level retail space. Plans also call for one level of underground parking, as well as common open space through amenities including a spa, a barbeque pit and multiple outdoor seating areas.
