Aviation/LAX Station Gets a TOD
A new multi-family residential complex is rising on a 3.3-acre site located south of the Green Line’s Aviation/LAX Station. The project, known as Avaire South Bay, is being developed in the unincorporated community of Del Aire by real estate firm Fairfield Residential. According to a post to the company’s website, the low-rise building will feature 264 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments as well as mezzanine loft units. Plans also call for a swimming pool, social lounge and a parking garage within the development.
