Trammell Crow Residential has announced the purchase of a 4.3-acre site in the CtrCity Anaheim district, where the Dallas-based real estate firm intends to construct a mixed-use development. The property, bounded by Lemon Street, Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim Boulevard and Cypress Street, is currently developed with a vacant AT&T facility and a parking lot.  It is entitled for a four-story building with 220 apartments and ground-floor retail space.  The project, to be known as Alexan CtrCity, is scheduled to begin construction in August 2016 and finish by the fourth quarter of 2018. The low-rise complex is being designed by a team consisting of Humphreys & Partners Architects, KHR Associates civil engineering, MJS Landscape Architecture and Parisa O’Connell Interior Design.  Their design pay homage to the historic downtown neighborhood with a contemporary spin on the architecture of the late 1800s and early 1900s. Alexan CtrCity will include studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments with monthly rents ranging between $1,800 and $2,700.  All units will come with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, high-speed internet access and washer-dryer sets. Other amenities will include a pool-and-spa deck, an entertainment lounge, a fitness center and a 506-car parking garage.
