In December, an article published by LAOCDB provided a detailed look at the Residences on Jamboree, a multifamily residential development in the Irvine Business Complex (IBC). The project, which is being developed Colorado-based UDR, Inc., consists of a five-story building wrapping an 601-car parking garage.  Plans call for a total of 381 apartments, as well as residential amenities including a resort-style swimming pool and a fitness center. The project received multiple density bonus incentives in exchange for reserving 76 of its residential units as affordalbe housing for lower income households. Renderings from Architects Orange portray a contemporary apartment building, similar to other nearby developments. The building is now “topped out,” with vertical construction largely complete.  Ongoing work includes window and facade installation. Completion of the Residences on Jamboree is expected by Fall 2016. 2801 Kelvin adds to the collection of multifamily developments in the IBC, including the 360 Apartment Homes, Granite Court and Modera Irvine.
